This paper deals with the analysis of leakage characteristics proportional directional valve. These distinguish a real valve from an ideal one. The is characterized by zero due to its perfect geometry. investigated element three-position four-way spool lap and feedback position. position measured inductive sensor processed external electronics. Internal occurs axial radial clearances between sleeve. magnitude that occur at throttle edges their effect on subject research. blocked-line pressure sensitivity curve, flow curve center are determined experiment. Individual for different working fluid temperatures supply pressures. through internal leaks in analytical calculations. also simulated using Ansys Fluent software. Subsequently, geometry simulation model modified take into account manufacturing tolerances. From results, tolerance evaluated. Finally, dependencies compared experimentally characteristics.
